We designed these Give’r gloves to be a lighter-weight version of our Classic Give'r Gloves, in response to requests from our customers for a quality pair of leather gloves that would be more comfortable to wear in warmer weather. We prototyped, tested, and tweaked the design until we had a great glove that met our high standards and that we knew our customers would love. Our lightweight leather gloves are perfect for summertime yard work or gardening, light construction projects, or even just stacking wood piles. If you're active and outdoorsy, they can also serve as your EDC work gloves for late spring skiing, camping, hunting, or warmer weather shoveling.

Important Lightweight Glove Sizing Information
This leather glove style is designed to be a relaxed fit. If this is your first order with Give'r, please note that we recommend sizing down a whole size if you prefer a snug fit. If you're a returning Give'r customer, we recommend ordering a Lightweight Glove style down one size than your preferred glove size in our other pairs of gloves. For example, if you have a Large pair of Classic Gloves, a Medium Lightweight Glove will be a similar fit.

1. Just don't clean 'em! Leather gloves look better with some good ol' dirt and grease and with time you'll come to love the new patina.
2. Can't resist cleaning your pair of gloves? Use a damp cloth (no soap!) to wipe away dirt from the surface of the work gloves and then dry them slowly in front of a fan.
Tried-N'-True Drying Techniques:
1. *Fastest* Place your leather gloves on a boot/glove warmer. Make sure you create a gap for airflow on the elastic cuff.
2. Place your work gloves on their sides in front of a standard fan, ensuring maximum airflow. Put a paper towel tube in the wrist cuff to assist with airflow.
3. Use any accessible products that absorb moisture or allow for airflow (i.e. shoe dehydrator, newspaper, etc.) and place them in the sun.
1. Wring out like a dish towel
2. Place too close to the fire
3. Place on your car exhaust
4. Turn inside out
5. Place on a radiator
6. Place in microwave

Hype notes and testimonials from publications and reviewers in the outdoor world!
"These gloves look basic, like typical leather work gloves. They’re so versatile, however, that what used to be a choice — which glove from a big stack to use for a particular job — is no choice at all."
New York Magazine
"My Lightweight Give'rs are my holy grail work gloves for everything in my life. From horses to hunting, they save my hands constantly. Plus, the personalization for just $8 makes these gloves that much more lovable."

1. What sort of activities can I use these leather gloves for?
The Lightweight Give'r Gloves are perfect for a wide range of activities. Whether you're going for a hike or a bike, setting up your kids' camp, or building a bonfire, these leather work gloves can meet your needs. They're tough and durable, but also lightweight and comfortable, so you can wear them all day without feeling weighed down. Plus, the leather construction ensures that your hands will be well protected from the elements, rain or shine.
2. On first wear, my Give'r gloves are snug — is this normal?
Yes! Our leather gloves are designed to fit snugly at first, as they'll begin breaking in on the first use. The leather glove itself will gradually mold to your individual hands the more you use them, becoming an extension of your hand and fingers for a comfortable, tailored fit. We recommend breaking in your work gloves by using them for light activities at first, such as household chores or gardening. The more you use them, the better they'll fit and the more comfortable they'll be.
3. Can I expedite the break-in process for these leather gloves?
When it comes to the best gloves, having the perfect fit is key to both performance and overall comfort as the wearer. That's why we always recommend breaking in your Lightweight Give'r gloves before you take them out on the trail. This time and love will give you a final result you'll be stoked on. However, we also understand that breaking in a pair of great gloves can take time. If you want to expedite the break-in process, try our Oven Method!
4. How can I make these leather gloves last as long as possible?
The key to making our leather gloves last as long as possible is patience and proper storage. First and foremost, always take your time putting your work gloves on and taking them off. This may seem like common sense, but it's easy to rush and pull the seams out of place. In addition, make sure you haven't stretched the leather gloves out of shape — this will cause them to wear down more quickly.
If you're not going to be using these great gloves for an extended period of time, it's important to store them in a cool, dry place. This will help to prevent the leather from cracking and becoming brittle.
With a little bit of patience and proper care, your leather gloves will last for years to come.
5. Why should I add initials to my lightweight leather gloves?
Adding your initials to your leather gloves can be a smart move for a couple of reasons. First and foremost, it can help you easily identify your work gloves if they become separated from you. Once you have the best gloves that are just your style, you don't want to risk losing them. Adding your initials can be a way to ensure that they don't get mixed up with anyone else's. Moreover, adding your initials can add a touch of personalization to your apparel. If you're someone who likes to make a personal statement with your clothing, this is a great way to do it. Not only will it make your work gloves stand out, but it will also show that you put some thought into choosing them.
6. Can I wax the Lightweight Give'r Gloves?
While your Lightweight Give'r gloves come unwaxed, you can wax them yourself if you want some additional weatherproofing. First, make sure the work gloves are clean and free of any dirt or debris. Then, heat up the wax. You can do this by microwaving the wax for a few seconds, or by melting it over a stovetop. Be careful not to overheat the wax, or it could damage the leather gloves.
Once the wax is melted, apply it liberally to the leather gloves. You may want to use a brush to help distribute the wax evenly. Let the work gloves sit for a few minutes so the wax can soak in. Then, buff them with a cloth to remove any excess wax.
If you wax your leather gloves regularly, they'll stay in good condition for a long time. The wax will help protect the leather from the elements, and it will also make them more water-resistant.
