I am a freestyle skier currently living in Lake Placid, NY looking to pursue my dream as a pro skier. I started park skiing at my home mountain, Cannonsburg, and worked with a local film crew called Switch Up Productions. From the start, I was hooked on the rush of trying something new on snow. This initial rush was quickly surpassed by the charge and excitement that resulted when I would go for it and finally stomp it.
I first heard about Give’r through a fellow ambassador Ross Perrot. The name meant something more to me than an outdoor sportswear company. To Give’r meant having the passion and ambition when it is the last run of the day to throw that trick I’ve been pushing myself to land. Giving something your all, to me, is more than just skiing. It’s watching ski edits of yourself and perfecting every flaw. It’s putting in the time and effort off the hill with dry land training, just as much as the effort you put in on the hill. It’s having six of your best friends, who’ve taught you everything you know about skiing, pushing you to try new tricks and giving you the courage to push your limit. The thing I love most about park skiing is that you can never stop progressing. Everyday someone, somewhere invents and lands a new trick. This charges me to continually progress my own skills and learn as much as I can. In short, I am always looking to Give’r!
