My feeling is, a drift boat is possibly the best office a guy could ask for...other than a Polaris RMK 800. I live less than 5 miles from some of the best freshwater trout fishing I have encountered in my 28 years living on this earth. Fortunately, I have had the privilege of doing this for a decade. Everyday brings new excitement and adventure.
I was educated at the University of Wyoming, Bachelor Degree in Political Science. This makes for exceptional discussions in the boat....as we all love to discuss politics while fishing. Between the ages of 13-18, I commercially tied flies from ages for a handful of shops and individuals. Helped pay for my fishing tackle. I am currently a Pro Member with Patagonia, Sage, Orvis, Temple Fork Outfitters, Rio fly lines, Ross Reels, Echo/Airflo, Umpqua and Simms. Local volunteer/steward of the river and the fish with Wyoming Game & Fish, US Fish & Wildlife Service, Bureau of Reclamation and Bureau of Land Management. As guides, we play a vital role in determining the health of our fisheries and all must work in collaboration to act as stewards for the river and a voice for the fish. Though I am a conservationist, I believe a preservation of our wild fish is necessary.
Our fish are wild western trout that are the hardest fighting fish....anywhere. Green and New Fork River fishing in western Wyoming. Fontenelle Dam tailwater section included.
Come spend a day fishing our high country streams. We have a remotely historic cabin with an outhouse, sauna and tents/tipis as our homebase camp, 7 miles into the National Forest. Access by horse or ATV. Both river drift boat fishing and high country small stream fishing are unique western experiences of real Wyoming. Green River and Bridger-Teton Outfitters is a permitee of the Bridger-Teton National Forest and equal opportunity employer.
