Give'r (verb): to give it your all
Our Mission: Empower you to give it your all - no matter your passion.
Give'r empowers a lifestyle fueled by positivity and growth in the pursuit of challenge and adventure. We provide tangible reminders to rise to the occasion and to embrace whatever it is that you love to do.
With ever-open arms, we believe that community is the foundation for maintaining these pursuits and that individual passions are best shared with those we love.
In the remote wilds of northern Ontario, Give'r came to life as a batch of custom hats commemorating a 7-day kayaking trip with friends 2,400 miles from home in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
On the hats, co-founder Bubba Albrecht and a crew of friends coupled a skyline of the Tetons with the phrase "Give'r," a colloquial term used in Ontario to encourage people to live life on full send.
Back home, many Jackson Hole locals asked what "Give'r" meant and started requesting their own hats.
After dozens of requests, it was time to Give'r.
Bubba and friends Carly Platt and Jed Mickle launched Give'r in spring 2012, aiming to both live the Give'r philosophy and share it with others.
Give’r experienced a breakout year in 2016 after launching its 4-Season Gloves on Kickstarter. Raising more than $200K, word quickly spread about these tough-as-nails, waterproof leather gloves.
Today, three styles of customizable leather Give’r gloves and a similar pair of mittens continue to inspire adventure around the world. In fact, Give'r gear has been worn on every continent, including Antarctica. And it’s found its way to the top of Everest.
But more often than not, it joins people on their everyday journey to give life their all in every pursuit, from casting flies in cold streams to rocking the pow.
The brand continues to grow its line of comfortable, high-performance clothing that ranges from performance layers to stylish trucker hats and polarized customizable sunglasses.
Major media outlets continue to tell the Give'r story, including Outside Magazine, Backcountry Magazine, Adventure Capitalists, Today Show, Sports Illustrated, Men’s Journal, Forbes, Gear Junkie, Powder, Men’s Fitness, Jackson Hole News&Guide and Town&Country. And its gloves and apparel have been donned by Professional Skier Bode Miller and NFL Players Ezekiel Elliott (aka Zeke) and Cardale Jones.
While a lot has changed over the years, some things haven’t. The business is still run out of a garage in Jackson, Wyoming (albeit with the help of a larger team), and Bubba still returns to Ontario, Canada, every year with a crew of friends for a trip back to the Give’r roots.
