It's 2012. Co-Founder and Chief Visionary, Bubba Albrecht, and a couple of his closest friends set out for a week-long kayaking trip in Ontario, 2,400 miles from home in Jackson, Wyoming. Celebrating what was the 5th Annual Trip of it's kind, commemorative hats were designed, made and gifted to the crew at the boat launch where that year's adventure began.
The hats featured the bold Tetons skyline (the home mountain range of that year's attendees) along with the phrase "Give'r", a Canadian colloquial term that means "to give it your all." After returning home to Wyoming from Canada, they continued to sport their custom hats, and began picking up on a level local intrigue the hats were garnering. This intrigue grew into adamant demand for more hats to be made, which crescendoed through the winter of 2011-2012 ...Bubba and crew knew it was time to Give'r. And thus the brand was born.
We believe that choosing to give'r is timeless. As such, we are proud to display the same logo on all of our products to this day, over a decade later.
Today, Give'r has doubled down on honoring the spirit of the individual, offering a collection of premium, outdoor work gloves and mittens that can be hand-branded with initials, or other important markers. These personalized products and all of our collections continue to equip, empower, and inspire a love of the outdoors the world over.
There are few things in Give'r history that have been more impactful than our crowdfunding campaigns. This platform has enabled us to most effectively work WITH our community to develop, design, and bring to life our greatest products to date including the 4-Season Glove, Frontier Mitten, and Ol' Faithful Pullover. The direct connection with our growing and vibrant community of like-minded individuals who share a love for the great outdoors has been the fuel to our fire.
