Spent the first 22 years of my life in the Midwest. Which is totally fine, but it wasn't until I stumbled into a guide job in Colorado when life really got interesting. Gamer nerd turned bearded man with crocs, a visor, and zip off pants. It's been a good, healthy transition (obviously). Backpacking, Climbing, Running, Cycling, Swimming, Hiking, and Eating. I like learning new things, too. Especially when YouTube tells you exactly what you need to know.
I now live in Spokane, Washington where nothing is "world class" but everything is hard to beat. I usually break the rubrics on those personality tests. They should have another category: "Give'r". For those that aren't into wasting time, but rather spending time and spending it well.
