Margaret currently makes her home in Ridgefield, CT with her husband and their two totally spoiled pups. Born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, she's made stops in Hawaii, Washington DC, and Wisconsin along the way. In addition to working full-time as a school counselor, Margaret fills her day (which usually starts at 4:45 in the morning) with running, biking, yoga, photography, and silversmithing. From a young age Margaret's never been one to let the grass grow beneath her feet. She learned to ski before she could eat solid foods, and still waits in line for the first chair like they might run out. In her spare time Margaret competes in triathlons and other distance races. She's an 8-time Ironman finisher, and is undefeated in athletic competition against her husband. When Margaret's got more than a few hours off you might find her boarding a plane for a faraway land. She's punched tickets to every region of the world, and many more than once. Her life is an endless journey for the perfect balance of adventure, endurance, community, and culture.
