BCA Frontier Mitten Fundraiser
In 1980, Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan, that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982, that promise became the Susan G. Komen® organization and the beginning of a global movement. What was started with $200 and a shoebox full of potential donor names has now grown into the world’s largest nonprofit source of funding for the fight against breast cancer. The efforts of the Susan G. Komen® organization helped reduce deaths from breast cancer by 40 percent between 1989-2016 and they won’t stop until their promise is fulfilled.
If that doesn’t define what it means to Give’r, then we don’t know what else does.
In October, we released our Limited Edition BCA Frontier Mittens with plans to donate a portion of sales to the Susan G. Komen® organization. Thanks to our loyal Give’r community, we have something incredible to celebrate this Giving Tuesday. In its first year, our BCA Mitten Campaign raised $12,000!
Thank you to everyone who supported the cause and made this donation happen. We continue to be humbled by the Give’r Community, and we will continue to find ways to Give'r Back.
