Being a small-town girl from Ohio, there aren’t a lot of chances to get out and explore. Since attending Wilderness Guide school, it has opened so many doors to life changing experiences for me.
Moving out to Colorado this summer and pursuing the lifestyle as a fly fishing guide and a wilderness horseback guide has opened my mind up to taking more chances, and to do what really sets your soul on fire. Guiding such free-spirted sports and teaching others to see the beauty in being your own person outdoors is something everyone should experience in their lifetime; it’s hard to beat.
In my free time I spend a lot of time horseback riding, doing yoga, and chasing my crazy dogs around the house. Even if it’s not a successful day spent outdoors, I’m still always coming back for more.
