If you haven’t been whitewater rafting, then we highly recommend it. One of the best rafting trips to try is the Small Boat Slam – because smaller boats mean bigger waves! Teton Whitewater offers an exhilarating trip on the Snake River, where you’ll hit every wave, feel every splash, and have a great time.
The Tetons steal all the fame and glory, while the mountain range on the opposite side of the valley – the Gros Ventres – tend to earn little more than a footnote in most guide books. Other’s loss is your gain. There are some truly amazing day hikes and camping spots in this range. Dispersed camping on Shadow Mountain, for example, is an experience you definitely won’t regret.
Check out some of Jackson Hole’s favorite local hangout spots. It'll give you a sense of the area's soul and grit. Not to mention, trendy bars can sometimes take a toll on your wallet. So if you’re looking for a bar that has a little more character, then check out the Stagecoach Bar in Wilson or Snake River Brewery, which is within easy walking distance of the Jackson Hole Town Square.

So even though this restaurant might be well-known, it will still be one of the more unique experiences you can try in Jackson Hole.
