**Our wax coating adds extra protection, conditioning, and durability, but it's not what makes these gloves waterproof. The internal waterproof membrane does the heavy lifting, keeping your hands dry while the leather develops a one-of-a-kind patina with use. For waxed gloves and mittens, when water stops beading and starts soaking in, it's time to re-wax.

Measure from the base of your wrist to the tip of your middle finger. This measurement is the best indicator of your size and should guide your size selection. Like a good saddle or a favorite pair of boots, these gloves get better with time. Expect ‘em to start snug and shape up quick with use.

• Prefer a tighter fit? Size down and use the Oven Method to break ‘em in. An extended break-in period will be required.

Give'r gloves aren’t just built tough; they’re built to get better with time. When they arrive, they might feel snug. Good. That means they’re ready to be broken in. As you put your pair to work, the leather will settle, the fit will dial in, and every joint, hotspot, and bit of tightness will ease up. Like a good pair of cowboy boots or trusty baseball mitt, it takes time to craft the perfect fit. Put your gloves through the paces, and soon enough, they’ll fit and feel like they were made just for you.

• Want to speed things up? Check out Glove Care and give the Oven Method a try. Gloves that go through the Oven Method are still available for return—just don't go given'r in them.

Still not convinced? Our founder and resident glove geek, Bubba, measures a size Large. He’s broken in everything from a Small to an XL to fit his hands. Some took a little more elbow grease, but every last one shaped up.

No two hides are the same, just like no two adventures. Every scuff, scar, and grain found in leather has a past, and through tanning, waxing, or baking, those unique beauty marks may become more defined. But as you put your gloves to work stacking wood, digging in the dirt, or gripping the reins, they’ll pick up a story of their own and become as unique as the two hands that wear 'em.

Take care of your gloves, and they’ll take care of you. Whether they’re covered in sawdust, dirt, or a hard day’s work, a little TLC goes a long way. Store ‘em right, clean ‘em up if you can't resist, and grab a Wax'n Packet for weatherproofing and conditioning. Do that, and your pair will stick with you for years.

• Wring out like a dish towel

• Place on your car exhaust
• Turn inside out
• Place on a radiator
• Place in microwave

How can I use my 4-Season Give’r Gloves?

Most folks only think about using these insulated leather work gloves for cold weather, but that's not all they're good for. These gloves are quintessential for practically any activity at any time of year, especially when durability is your main concern.

Which glove/mitten is best for me?

The 4-Season Gloves provide you with necessary dexterity, are 100% waterproof, and keep your hands warm. But if you need extra warmth over dexterity, our Frontier Mittens are the best option and also 100% waterproof.

The Classic Gloves are great for brisk days and offer greater dexterity, but if you need additional protection, warmth, and waterproofing, the 4-Season Glove is the one to grab.

If you’re still unsure which glove or mitten is right for you, give us a holler at sales@give-r.com.

The liner came out of my glove, what do I do?

This can happen because our lining is not sewn into the leather/waterproof membrane, as this would compromise the waterproof integrity. Here’s how to resolve the issue:

• Preheat your oven to 200°F.
• Place your gloves in the oven for 5 minutes. Ensure the black clasps connecting the gloves are pointing up and not resting on the oven shelf.
• Remove the gloves/mittens and carefully pull the liner out completely while keeping the fingers tucked into their designated slots.
• Insert your fingers into each slot, then push the liner back into the cuff using a fist and spread your fingers into their original leather slots.
• Wedge your fingers together and clench your hands a few times. This method mimics molding a heated ski boot footbed or a mouthguard.

Tip! When removing the gloves, pinch the middle finger to keep the lining in place.
