**Our wax coating provides additional leather protection but is not the waterproof element. Leather will show water absorption, and the internal waterproof membrane protects from external moisture.

Measure from the base of your wrist to the tip of your middle finger. This measurement is the best indicator of your size and should guide your size selection. Like a good saddle or a favorite pair of boots, these gloves get better with time. Expect ‘em to start snug and shape up quick with use.

• Prefer a tighter fit? Size down and use the Oven Method to break ‘em in. An extended break-in period will be required.

Just like the Frontier Mittens, they are 100% waterproof and made for anything you throw at them. But for those extremely chilly days, the Frontier Mittens are by far our warmest style.

Frontier Mittens vs. Classic Mittens - The Classic Mittens are great for daily use in colder weather and casual outdoor activities. They provide warmth and comfort with a classic style and are easy to break in, though they are not as heavy-duty or warm as the Frontier Mittens.
