Which Gloves Are Best For Me?

The Give’r Quiver

The million dollar question: “Which kind of gloves should I get?” The truth is…it depends. It depends on where you live, what you do, and how you plan to use your gloves. But to be honest, we believe nearly everyone has some kind of use for every glove in our line up and encourage you to build your own “Give’r Quiver." But after ten years, here's our two cents.

Lightweight Give'r GlovesLightweight Give’r Gloves

The Lightweight Give'r Gloves are what we call an Everyday Carry (EDC). They are straight shootin', tough, and durable, but unlined and unwaxed. We suggest these to folks who live in warmer places or who plan to garden or work outdoors in the hot summer months. These unlined hides work great for climbing belay gloves, for horseback riding, or as a protective glove for construction work or woodworking. Their uses are endless, but the number one thing to know about our lightweights is that they’re designed for the HOT days.

Classic Give'r GlovesClassic Give’r Gloves

We may be biased, but our Classic Give’r Gloves just might be the best. And the longer you wear them, the better they get. The classics are made to do it all in cooler environments with soft insulation and an all-natural wax coating. Wear them ski patrolling, rowing on the river, biking in the fall, snowmobiling through powder, and so much more. They’re perfect for keeping warm when it’s too hot for mittens but too cold for unlined leather. These resilient, rugged, and ready for action classics are the original Give'r Glove of 100 Uses.

Classic Give'r MittensClassic Give’r Mittens

The Classic Give'r Mittens are the newest member of the family. We've taken everything we love from the Give'r Classic Glove, and modified it for mitten form. Each pair arrives wax-sealed and ready for you to get out there and Give’r! Like their glove counterparts before them, they are perfect for all of your outdoor activities, from skiing and snowboarding to horseback riding and hiking. With more insulation than the classic glove (100g Thinsulate Insulation in this mitten), durable leather, and a mitten construction, they are sure to keep your hands warm and dry all day long.

Give'r 4-Season GlovesGive'r 4-Season Gloves

The best damn glove ever. When you want dexterity but it’s cold as hell, it's time to bring out our 4-Season Gloves: the world’s most comfortable, versatile, and durable pair of waterproof, all-leather, insulated gloves. The gloves work as hard as you do and are constructed with rugged cowhide leather to ensure they withstand abrasion and keep your hands safe. We wax every pair of gloves by hand to add a layer of weatherproofing and add additional leather reinforcements to high impact areas like the palm and fingertips. These gloves are burly and will not quit on you.

Give'r Frontier MittensGive’r Frontier Mittens

Last but certainly not least are our Give’r Frontier Mittens. We recommend these to people in the coldest of environments looking to stay out all day in freezing (or colder) temperatures. These mighty mitts have all the same layers as the 4-Season Gloves and are 100% waterproof. So what’s the difference? Even more warmth. Since your fingers are all tucked together, they’ll stay super hot in these ultra-insulated mitts. With the same red cuff as our 4-Seasons, these are designed for an all-time Jackson Hole powder day...the kind of day that might make us a couple minutes late for work. These mitts thrive while skiing, snowboarding, ice fishing, snowmobiling, winter camping, and everything you can throw at 'em. If you’re cold…these mittens will do the trick.
